New year. New level. STRONGER ME!
Hey
everyone!!! I hope this post finds you in good health, and spirits! January has swept
from under our feet. I’m not sure about you but I feel like we are in 2020
already! (Ok I’m exaggerating haha). This year is going to be whatever you make
it out to be. Whether it is the year of many ups, many downs, or a counter
balance of both it is up to you to fixate your mind to be up or down. Now, no
matter how good of a person you are, and all the good seeds you sow into the Earth,
test and trials are inevitable. You may question at times why are you facing
such difficulties. You may feel like you don’t deserve what you’re facing, but
just know troubles don’t last always. Sometimes it may seem like you are in a dark confined space. The space may seem so tight that the discomfort
is unbearable. I want you to think about two things that are created in dark
confined spaces. The diamond and the pearl. The diamond is formed under a
combination of high temperatures and extreme pressure. The pearl is made when a
grain of sand or a bit of floating food, slips into between one of the two
shells of the oyster, a type of mollusk, and the protective layer that covers
the mollusk’s organs. These two beautiful pieces each go through discomfort,
darkness, and pressure. But when they come to surface, they are admired for their
beauty. You may be going through discomfort, darkness, and pressure. Just know
that when God is finished preparing you, you will admire your beauty that is
going to be revealed. This year may not have started off great for you, but it
is never too late for a turn around. You have to take authority over your
thoughts and know that something beautiful is going to come out of this
hardship, this trial, this season of darkness. No, I can’t tell you how long it
will last, but just know God won’t put more on you than you can bear. Stay the
course. Fight the good fight. DO all you have to, to come surface so you can
see the beauty that will come out of the darkness. The new year is not the time
to change who you are, it is the time to reflect on what you have been through
and who you’ve grown to be! Don’t think about how many times you’ve fallen, think
about how many times you’ve gotten up. Each time you got up you surfaced with
more strength, more wisdom, more fortitude, more faith, more tenacity, and more
drive to pursue your purpose. This new year lead you into a new level, and a
stronger you has surfaced! “Being confident in this very thing, that he which begun
a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians
1:6). Know that God is the potter and we are the clay. God is not going to finish
his craft prematurely because we feel uncomfortable. There is SO much beauty in discomfort.
We just have to learn to embrace it. Everyday is a new day to continue forward
and think positive no matter what the situation looks like. The new year is here
we are already in the second month! Take this time now to come to the realization
that no matter what you face, it is for your good. This is the new year. You’re
on a new level, and you’re so much STRONGER! Not matter how dark it gets remember
this, “And after you have suffered a while, the God of all grace, who has
called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, STRENGTHEN,
and establish you. (1 Peter 5:10). Continue to have FAITH, PRAY, AND GROW! You’re
on a NEW LEVEL!
