Use your words

Hey everyone! I pray this post finds you in good spirits, and health! It has been a while since the last time I made a post. A lot has happened since the last time I wrote on here. From the new presidency, to COVID-19 vaccines, the insurrection, and so much more. We have seen and heard a lot, and some of the things that we have seen and heard may have put us in a difficult place. We know that life isn’t always going to be easy, but there is nothing that we face that we cannot overcome. So, when the world is in disarray and some days feel unbearable what do we do? I am glad you asked! Haha! The most important thing is to keep faith in God, because situations and circumstances will try to break it. You have to be mindful of yourself and speak well of yourself. Experiences in life can convince you to believe so much negative things about yourself. I like to remind people that your words will always bring you through! Which is why we have a mantra every month in my cycling class. This month is “Manifestation May” where we remind ourselves that we must speak, believe, so we can receive the great things life has in store for us. I love to manifest because it shows the power of speaking and believing. Once you receive, all of the things you had to endure begin to make sense. I just wanted to post about the mantras from last year and the new ones from this year for you to have some sayings that maybe able to bring you through!

Let’s start with January. January’s mantra was, “Just for me January”. This is the month we were considering ourselves and being mindful of ourselves. We made sure we did things that uplifted us and made us better. February was, “Fight for it February”. We were fighting for things that built us and took us higher, and we were fighting against things that weighed us down and made us feel defeated. March was, “I was made for this March”. This month we reassured ourselves that no matter the difficulties we face, or whatever is to come in the future we are equipped with everything necessary to fight, conquer, and overcome! April was, “I’m all in April”. This month we said would stay the course regardless of what it looks like. Sometimes the journey we are on can be daunting, and it can make us feel hopeless. In April, we said we would be all in no matter what our circumstance is, we would not lose heart or sight of our goals. May was, “Moving forward May”. We made the declaration that we weren’t going to stay stagnant and we will move forward. Getting out of a complacent place can be tough, but we spoke these words to pull ourselves out to move forward. June was, “Just do it June”. June, we continued to push out of comfortable spaces to reach our goals. This month we said no matter how hard it gets, no matter how tired we are, and no matter how dark it is we would just do it! Doing what we need to do to get to where we need to be! July was, “See it clearly July”. Yes, life may cloud our vision, but we still have to see it clearly that we will not be defeated! August was, “I’m going all the way August”. We reminded ourselves that the journey maybe tedious, but we are going all the way. September was, “Still Strong September”. Regardless of what tried to break us, or what seems to be breaking us we are still strong and we will get stronger. October was, “There is more for me October”. Sometimes in life we may feel like there is nothing left for us to receive. This month we reminded ourselves that there is so much more in store for us and we must not quit! November was, “Next level November”. The next level requires a lot, but there isn’t anything we can’t handle in life to make it to the next level. This month we said no matter the pressure the next level is achievable! As the year came to a close in 2020 December we said, “We are not Defeated!”. The year was filled with so many test, trials, and tribulations. I still would get on social media during stay-at-home orders and give the mantra via IG live. Words really are imperative to our very being. Some of us went into a very trying place and our words really brought us out of it! The mantras aren’t just designated for a specific month, but they should flow over with you whenever you need to be reminded of the positive outcome that you will see!

January 2021 the mantra was, “There is more for me, better is amongst me”. This month we did whatever it took to receive better! No matter what current state we were in we reminded ourselves that we can always do better and receive better. February was, “Feeling free February”. This month we said despite what tries to restrict us we will feel free and fight to be unrestricted. March was, “A meaningful March”. March, we said to ourselves that we will focus on doing things that serve a great purpose in our lives. Getting away from things and people who don’t mean us well, and striving for more meaningful situations. April was, “Fully aware April”. Fully aware of our potential and capabilities to accomplish our dreams. Today is the last day of, “Manifestation May!” This one right here has been one of my favorites! Speak! Believe! Receive! Manifest! This month and for the rest of our lives we need to Manifest! God has so much for us and God just wants us to speak, believe, and receive. Of course, we have to do our part. We have to put in the steps despite what we see, despite how we feel, and despite what we hear. Staying optimistic for the outcome we spoke. What do you need to get rid of? What do you need more of? Manifest it! God has really been hearing these manifestations and coming through. I am a witness. Now we are here in June. June is, “In the zone June”. Staying focused and not letting anything or anyone distract us from getting to our desired outcome. Yes, distractions will come, but we will stay in our zone! Be on the lookout for my cycling video for our monthly mantra. My friends use your words! Take these mantras and apply them where necessary. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. . . (Proverbs 18:21). Speak life! Speak well over yourself! Don’t let up! Keep giving it your all. I guarantee you it will be worth it. Use your WORDS. Much love always!
