Faith rise! Fear subside!

Hey everyone! I pray that this post finds you in good spirits and health! I know so much has changed since the last time I posted. I, for one turned 27 *woohoo* lol! I was fortunate to be able to celebrate with some amazing people before the quarantine. That celebration reminded me of a part of my purpose. A part of my purpose is to encourage Gods people that not matter what we face in life we can overcome. We are living in a very eerie unprecedented time. This is a time that has incited FEAR in some of us. FEAR only comes to try to convince us that we don’t have what it takes to be an overcomer. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7). God gave us the power to overcome adversity, the love to encourage ourselves as well as others in difficult times, and a sound mind to be able stay optimistic in turmoil. Even if you’re not a believer God encompasses all of us in his favor and instills FAITH in us. It’s up to us to utilize it. We don’t want FEAR to just subside, but we want it to be eradicated. FAITH comes to help us realize that we are more than overcomers! FEAR comes to convince us that having FAITH is pointless. FEAR tries to take the strength that FAITH gives us. FEAR wants complete control to make us feel hopeless. FEAR hinders us from having FAITH in many different circumstances. FEAR to me means; Forget Everything And Run. FAITH means to me; Face All Internal Thoughts and Heal. FEAR in a sense is not always a bad thing because it gives us the opportunity to break free from its bondage, and it helps us to grow. We can’t allow FEAR to dwell for a long time due to the fact that it is going to be a lot more cumbersome to fight. Allowing FEAR to occupy space just gives it the opportunity to increase. Forgetting Everything And Running keeps us in captivity while exerting all of our energy by not facing the issue. Being able to face our internal thoughts helps us to heal and be liberated. We know that having the FAITH the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains. (Matthew 17:20). We want our FAITH to rise because we know the outcome is extraordinary. It is not always easy to have FAITH. Due to the fact that things may not turn out the way we expected it to. We have to rest assure that God is doing things to benefit us. FEAR also comes to convince us that things aren’t going to work out in our favor. We must take solace in the fact that although it may not look good it’s working in our favor. Although the odds look stacked against us, we will win in the end! “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) What are you hoping for? What are you not seeing? Keep the FAITH! I am a firm believer that God has us quarantined for a better outcome. Continue to know that God will not put more on us than we can bear. We are here in this moment for a very apparent reason. Don’t FEAR the subsequent because God is going to provide! We can withstand! We are equipped for this moment. Believe that if God can handle the seas, he can deal with ALL of our needs! God can heal! God can deliver! God can set free! Will you allow FEAR to dwell or will you move mountains with FAITH? The choice is yours. Be encouraged. Don’t be afraid! “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14). We spent Resurrection Sunday in our homes this year. No going out getting baskets or new clothes. There was no feeling bad for not having the means to be able to get those things. We were home. We were home. We were home. Giving thanks for the ultimate gift without the appurtenances. God, we thank you for Jesus. We thank you for increasing our FAITH. We thank you for your love. We thank you for your provision. Our FAITH has RISEN!
